Good morning, another very nice morning here in Puerto Plata! IT is hot and sunny with some high light clouds. We have no wind this morning.

I have all my fingers and toes crossed that this weather holds for the week!

Kiwicanuck = don't you feel silly when you miss the obvious? Don't worry we have all done it.

Well that didn't last. We are now fully overcast with a light wind. I expect we will get rain again later today.

After reading other threads about the weather elsewhere, just remember it may rain here but I don't need to shovel it. And it won't take me 20minutes to dress to go outside!!! I can still wear my short skirts, heels and teeny tiny little tops....even in the winter here....LOL

Of course it gets read! You're famous! Over 10,000 views of this thread since you've started! For me, I am not comfortable in the mornings until I see Peter & Alex signing in from Cabarete, PJT from Punta Cana-Bavaro and you from Puerto Plata. If your weather reports don't come in, I immediately think of major power outages, strikes, illness and other dire happenings...

Dolores has been a little infrequent with her reporting in from Santo Domingo but I guess she'll be with us again when anything a little out of the ordinary happens.

Thanks Chris!!! It is nice to know this gets read! I appreciate the feedback.

So you know, the days I do not report means:

1. Computer or electrical problem at my office
2. Work has interfered with my personal life and I am elsewhere
3. I've opted out of real life and I am at home in bed watching movies and eating bon bons...... LOL
4. I've simply taken a day off and I am not in the office.

Good morning everyone. Do you know there are only 4 more sleeps till Christmas........

The weather today has returned to CRAPPY. IT is overcast with just a couple of little blue breaks, maybe there is hope. Overnight it rained a lot again. We have a light breeze but it is currently not raining.

The long range forecast - well I won't tell you because you can't trust those weather forecasters.....LOL

Good morning, and what a nice morning it is. We have beautiful blue skies, nice warm temperatures and not a breeze! While it rained over night I am hoping we are done with the liquid sunshine for a few days at least.

Today is a great day to drive to Santiago. I am off to get my Christmas turkey and fixings.... and maybe a Christmas present for me!!! After all, I have been a very good girl this year.......LOL

Good morning. We had a great day yesterday and it is looking like another one today.

We have a bright blue sky, nice and hot and not a breeze right now. I"ll try and update later today.

For anyone who wants to know, I could not find a turkey in Santiago, came back to Puerto Plata to buy one! Shopping was wild yesterday in Santiago. It was not fun.... Didn't even get my own Christmas present. So, if anyone wants to know what I want..... just ask......LOL

Hello everyone. My apologies for the delay in posting this morning. Damn work is interfering again....LOL

Today is bright and sunny and hot!!!! Woo hoooo. We are definately NOT going to have a white Christmas here! Wooo hooo.

I will not be posting tomorrow or Sunday as I am taking the weekend off!

Happy Holidays everyone.

Christmas day was fabulous here. Bright blue skies, nice and hot, light breeze.... followed by a starry night, slightly cooler with a stunning full moon.

Today has been beautiful as well, a few clouds, mostly hot and sunny with a bit of a breeze....

What a great holiday weekend!
