Good morning, we have the start of another nice day. We have blue skies, it is 83F with almost no breeze at all.....

Yesterday started out nice, but the clouds rolled over us mid morning and we were cloudy. But no rain so it was not a total loss.

All this good weather is just in time for the Holiday season travellers. Everyone do their sun dance and we should be fine.

Good morning. Well after a stunning weekend the rains have come back.

We had 2 beautiful days Saturday and Sunday. I even managed to have an hour poolside.

Last night the clouds rolled in and apparently ruined the Elvis Martinez concert. Today we have rain showers this morning and maybe it will clear later on!

Don't worry I am pretty sure it isn't bad enough to stop Santa!

Good morning! We have had a pretty good weekend weather wise here in Puerto Plata! We had sun, a few clouds, just a bit of rain........ but hey - no snow.....

Today we have beautiful blue skies, 83F and a nice breeze. What a way to end the year!

It has been an interesting year weather wise. Some of our usual patterns just did not materialize and other new patterns seem to be emerging. We had weeks of endless sunshine and heat, then torrential rainstorms that did millions of dollars in damage and challenged the relilience of the Dominincan spirit! In my opinion this is still paradise!

Good morning!!!

We started out 2008 in perfect style - bright blue skies - 86F - light breeze! It was the perfect weather for sitting by a pool with a mimosa in hand!!! By evening it cooled down slightly making it perfect for sitting on the balcony.

Today is a repeat - blue skies, 83F already and a light breeze.
