What is the weather like in Late May around the Puerto Plata area?

Today we have hot and sunny conditions. We have a nice breeze too. It appears almost hazy off to the east.....

In May we can have hot and humid conditions. You can expect some showers late in the day so come prepared.

I was right, the clouds rolled in late on Tuesday and they are still here. We are completely socked in. We had rain Tuesday night, most of yesterday and we are still overcast today. But, it is a bit brighter, the clouds aren't quite as heavy. I think this system might be breaking up.

It is still hot and humid and right now there is little breeze. Hopefully we will return to hot and sunny conditions tomorrow.

I was right - wooo hoooo. We are back to stunning weather. It is HOT 88 F with a light breeze, blue skies and not a cloud in sight.

Good morning, it is another beautiful day here! We have bright blue skies and hot hot hot.... it is a day for a pool or the beach. And of course as we move towards summer you can feel the humidity levels rise!

Sunday evening we were hit by quite the rain storm, with high winds and hail. It lasted about 30 minutes where I am. That is the only rain we had all weekend.

Good morning, what a nice day we have. It is 86F and not quite as humid as it was yesterday at this time. We had some clouds roll in late yesterday afternoon but didn't get any rain. Last evening was very hot and humid with not a breeze to be found.

I'm having an interesting morning - just been to Codetel to see if my phone can be saved - you are not supposed to drop them in water!

The weather has certainly changed today. We started out hot and humid but sunny. About 11 am the rain started and for the past 2 hours we have had some pretty heavy rain.

Currently we have some sun and clouds, it is hot and humid and there are some big ugly clouds off to the east. I expect we will see more rain later.
