Good morning, what a fabulous day again. It is hot and dry with no breeze a all.

The area is slowing down for Semana Santa - Easter weekend. But the beaches will be busy as locals and tourists make good use of our great weather!

Last night we had the most incredible red sun just before sunset. I am told this happens because of the dust particles in the air. Lots of dust due to the dry condtions and I would think the residue thrown up by the forest fire.

Have a great day.

Good morning, another fabulous day in paradise. Since Thursday we have had nothing but sun and heat. It was a wonderful weekend weatherwise.

We have had no rain in some time now and the dust is getting bad. But we have some incredible sunsets! The sun turns into a beautiful red ball in the sky. The full moon was coming up red as well. This has something to do with the light refracting off the dust particles in the air. Stunning whatever the cause.

Currently we have hot, dry and slightly breezy conditions. Great day to sit by a pool with lots of sunscreen!

Have a great day.

Good morning everyone. Today we have hot and humid conditions with no breeze at all. Currently we have high cloud cover and I hope we get some rain later today. It would certainly help the very dry dusty conditions.

Still a great day to be at the beach - be careful you will burn just as easily today as when there is no cloud cover.

Have a great day.

Well that old saying: in like a lion out like a lamb...

Here it came in like a lamb - goes out like a lamb - I wonder what that means......LOL

Today is just the same as yesterday! Sun, heat, no breeze and some dust around.... It's a beautiful day for all the tourists.

It does feel hotter then the forecast high so find some shade by middle afternoon or at the very least a pool with a swim up bar! Have one for me.

I am off to the beach this afternoon myself....

Have a great day.

Good morning. We have another beautiful day today! IT is hot, sunny - not a cloud in the sky, and a light breeze today.

I spent the afternoon at Sosua Bay yesterday and had a fabulous time. The water was quite calm, very very clean and we had a light breeze which helped keep us a little cooler.

Make sure you pack lots of sunscreen if you are planning a trip her anytime soon. And, be careful of old sunscreen, it has a shelf life and will lose its effectiveness over time!

Have a great day.

I am not likely to be in the office tomorrow, so no weather update. I am off to the beach for the day!!!!!! Come on and join me....

Have a great day.

Good morning! Yesterday we had quite a strange day. IT was so hazy with very high clouds, it almost felt overcast but not quite. It was quite humid and there was almost no breeze at all. IT was a good day to enjoy the beach at sosua bay. We had some quite large rolling waves at the beach and there was a lot of crap in the water. It appears that there was a storm somewhere out there churning things up. The beach was more crowded then I expected.

Today it is hot and humid again and there is no breeze at all. IT is overcast and I hope we get some rain to both get rid of the humidity that is hanging over us and to give everything a good washing down. Dust is everywhere.

Last night I sat on my balcony enjoying a drink and we got about 8 drops of rain!!! That was it. I couldn't see the stars at 9pm so I was hoping we would get rain later. Well maybe today....

Have a great day.
