Hello again. Today is beautiful. What a great day. HOt, sunny, no clouds and a light breeze! Enjoy.
Yesterday: it did not rain. The clouds all blew away and it was a really nice day! We went to Luperon on a new excursion and had a blast. For those who do not know about La Isabella - it is interesting! The national park is a protected area where Columbus built a settlement. There is also a fairly large museum of Taino and Spanish artifacts. The Bay of Luperon is stunning. We zoomed around on little speed boats and had a blast.... Then a little rum, a little cervesa and some lunch.... woo hooo.
Today is another fabulous day - Hot Sunny Light Breeze. We have clouds off to the east and maybe they will bring a late afternoon or early evening shower....
You know I must be a woman! I love it when I am right... It clouded up late yesterday and by 8 pm it was pouring rain. It rained intermitently all evening and then it poured through the night. It rained so hard it woke me up!!!
This morning we are completely overcast! We've had some showers and I expect more. We needed this rain right now. Don't worry it won't last.
Well I was half right on Saturday. The rain has continued allllll weekend. Saturday night it poured. Sunday it poured. Sunday night it poured.
This morning is overcast but not pouring. It was drizzly first thing and continues. It is slightly brighter out so maybe it will clear. Then again, maybe not. I like to cover all my bases! It is not as hot as it was last week and will only go up to about 26 or 28 degrees today. There is no breeze at all right now.
Good morning. Well we sort of cleared a bit yesterday. Over night the rains came back. This morning it is pouring rain!!! We are completely socked in with cloud cover and pouring rain. The outlook for later in the week is looking a little bit better but today isn't looking good!
We are arriving on 27th April from the UK, the weather here is lousy and we were looking forward to some sun, seems like that's not going to be on offer Is this rain due to last?

We do have clouds off to the east and I expect a shower or thundershower later today. But this is progress. It isn't quite as hot as it was last week with highs expected of 26. We have a light breeze.
Sandy&Andy - expect to have some great sunny days. Don't worry it is common this time of year to get rain storms roll through but we do get sunshine and lots of it. Bring your sun screen and your umbrella!
Hi - we're coming down this Saturday for a week and the forecasts on line look horrible. So far your post this morning has been the most optimistic. According to the forecast, there will be clouds and showers till next Friday (a week from this Friday) are you hearing the same down there?? OH NO!
