Restoration Day is Tuesday Aug 16th but is being celebrated on Monday the 15th so we have a long weekend.

This is the second busiest weekend after Semana Santa, or Easter as we english speaking call it....

Ditto from yesterday.... We had a quick rain shower last night....

It is 32 degrees C or 90 F, little breeze.......

Well today started out beautiful but we had some clouds build up and a short thunderstorm passed over. We still have some clouds to the east so I think we will see a little more rain today.

Paddy we are just getting this out of the way before you get here!

My wife and I are coming out to PP on Saturday 20 August - our first trip to the Dom Republic. We are real sun worshippers - is the weather going to be good to us? (friends were in Punta Cana last year and had a great holiday)

It is too early to say just what the weather is going to do 7 days from now. Chances are that you'll have a great time. This time of year we usually get hot and sunny weather and we welcome a tropical rain shower or two, to keep us cool. Enjoy the trip!

it better be nice...planner promised me..that from aug.17..28th..it would be...or she gets no goodies if it's otherwise. lol
