Thanks - we've been advised to expect some tropical showers but as long as there's plenty of sunshine, we'll be happy!

It is a holiday Monday here in paradise....

Yesterday was hot and sunny, a great beach day. I am told the beaches were crowded.

Today, again hot and sunny with high humidity. WE have a light breese currently and there are clouds off to the east. It's another fabulous beach day. I think I will head there shortly.

Paddy you realize by putting that in writing you best be bringing chocolate.....LOL

arabally, you will be happy. Bring a small umbrella, good puddle shoes, mosquito repellant and lots and lots of sunscreen! YOu will most likely need it all.

Have a great day.

Good morning. Today we have sun and clouds! It is over 30 celcius already and humid with a light breeze. We have lots of big fluffy clouds off to the east. I am betting we see some rain later on today! Let's get them out of the way before Paddy arrives...

Now Paddy, are you saying I am not worth a puddle....?

Have a great day.

Good morning. And what a beautiful morning we have again! Bright blue skies, 32 degrees or close to 90 degrees depending how you like your temperatures read....LOL There is almost no breeze at all today.

Last night we had some clouds roll in and lots of thunder over my apartment. I'm not sure if it actually rained much as my eyes were too heavy and kept closing.....

Paddy - as always honey you are absolutely correct... we are one of life's pleasures....

Have a great day.

Hi Planner
Just a quick post to say thanks for all your hard work in posting every day.
I have been keeping an eye on your forum as I will be arriving in the DR next Tuesday, and staying at the Iberostar. It has been very helpful in seeing the daily weather reports, and hopefully the weather will remain fine for my 2 weeks stay on your lovely island.

Good morning. We seem to have a complete return to stunning weather. The sky is like a completely painted canvas of blue just waiting for some kids with finger paints.... NOt a cloud to be seen. It was 30 degrees or 86 when I left my apartment this morning. ANd by the way, the thermometer is in the shade... It is a little humid and there is no breeze at all. A great day to be by the pool or in the ocean. But wear that sunscreen.

Have a great day.

Just make sure that sunshine stays there - we've only got 2 more days before we get there! Friends returned today from Punta Cana and had a great time so our expectations are high. Like earlier messages above, thanks for the regular updates re hot temperatures.
