Good morning. Today is again very beautiful. IT is 34 C, sunny, bright blue skies and a nice breeze. We have a few big white fluffy clouds up there but nothing bad looing.
Have a great day.

Good morning and welcome to a beautiful day!!! Again, hot hot hot, humid, bright blue skies and a very light breeze. Today there are no clouds at all up in the sky...
I managed to get almost 2 hours at the beach and it was so wonderful. The temperature of the ocean has increased and it is only slightly cooling now. YOu can spend hours in the ocean in this temperature!
Have a great day.

Good morning. Today is just a little cooler then it was yesterday. It isn't much but when you live here you tend to notice even the subtle differences. It is still quite humid and I have a feeling it will cloud up later today and we will have some thundershowers.
Currently we have a few clouds and almost no wind at all.
Have a great day.

Hello again, today is rather strange. We have a blanket of high clouds which means we dont see the sun but it is really quite bright out. I'm sure there is a technical term for this but I am not a real technical kind of girl.
Currently it is damn hot and humid but we have a nice breeze so that helps. It is the kind of day where you will be sun burned without knowing it so be careful.
Have a great day

YEsterday was a beautiful day, so I decided to wash sheets and towels and hang them outside to dry. Of course as soon as I did this, the clouds rolled in, we had thunder and the rain followed.... These clouds passed and the rest of the day was quite nice.
Today has started out overcast. We have dark clouds currently but off to the east it is a little brighter. I think it will be a mixed bag today. The ocean is dark so I think we will get rain later.
IT is hot and humid again and we have no breeze at all.
Have a great day.

Coming to DR in October
Hi
Have been reading your posts for about 2 weeks now (after getting a good last minute deal with the travel agent) and my girlfriend and I are coming into to the Riu Merengue in Maimon Bay on the 3rd October for 2 weeks.
The weather reports here in the UK currently say it is sunny with a chance of scattered thunderstorms, the US sites are saying thunderstorms all the time. We would like to know from someone who is there what the weather should be like around this time -
Thanks
Mike

Funny I was just answering someone else with a similar question!
If there is even a slight chance we will get a thunderstorm anywhere near here, the weather will predict storms!!!
Here is reality: you will get some thunderstorm activity. It will most likely be relatively short lived. you will get sunshine, so bring the sunscreen. Bring good quality mosquitto repellant with at least 22% DEET. Bring an umbrella if you can. Bring shoes that can get wet, a thunderstorm here can drop a lot of water quickly, but it is warm water....LOL
We cannot predict what will happen. We've just had the most incrediblly gorgeous 2 or 3 weeks you can imagine. Normally we get more rain than this.
Don't worry, you will get enough sun to make you happy.
