Well we are getting a little bad weather out of the way before our visitors arrive on Monday! LOL

Currently we have overcast conditions with almost no breeze, it is hot and humid too.

Today is a holiday here and I am sure many locals are visiting the beaches anyway. I hope the rain holds off until much later in the day.

Last night was interesting, it was hot and humid. I left my apartment to head to Playa Dorada area. It is a drive of under 1 KM. We had dry conditions where I live and it had been pouring rain at Playa Dorada for over an hour. Go figure! Then it stopped and everyone seemed to carry on with their plans...

A stunning, beautiful, gorgeous day! It is over 32 C or 90F, a few clouds rolling in but bright blue skies, and a nice breeze. A great Sunday.

Good morning. Today we have cloudless bright blue skies. It is hot already, humid and we have a very very light breeze.

Last night we got some rain early in the evening and it cooled it off very nicely.

I am back in Puerto Plata again after 3 days in the capital.

The drive back was nice, it's clear weather here right now but I am sure it will rain soon! There are some dark clouds building to the east of us.

First I can hardly believe it is October! Time flies....

Today it is almost like being in a cloud. It isn't a fog because it isn't on the ground but almost being in a cloud. The sun is up there somewhere but I can't actually see it.

It is damn hot and humid today with NO breeze. It is stifling today. I am sure it will rain later. Be careful if you are at the beach, you can seriously burn today and not feel it.

Good morning. Well today isn't such a nice day. It is overcast with darker more threatening clouds. We haven't had much rain lately so this could be welcome. It is very hot and humid again today with no breeze at all.

Yesterday was a really nice day! We had bright blue skies with a nice breeze - it was a perfect beach day. So that is where I went in the afternoon.

Today started out nice but for whatever reason, I could not get on here to tell you about it.

Now, it is pouring rain!!! Typical tropical thunder storm. It is raining very hard at this exact moment. But this too shall pass. It is nice and hot and I am sure the rain will clear the humidity a bit.

Good morning. Today we have hot humid conditions again. We have absolutely no breeze at all. There are very high clouds but they are not the big fluffy ones. I think just enough to give us some shade from the sun but definately not enough to protect from the sun's burning rays.

We had quite a nice rain storm yesterday. It did cool things off a bit too.

Good morning, today is truly stunning! We have 28C or about 85 F, bright blue skies, reasonable humidity and almost no breeze!

I won't be reporting again until Tuesday as I am taking a few days off and can't guarantee I will be here. So, I will ask Carina to post for me.

Good morning from Puerto Plata.
It is now 7 a.m. and we have a beautiful morning.
The temperature is 75°F / 24°C, no breeze at all at this hour.
Sunrise was 25 minutes ago ( 6.35 a.m. ), a few clouds decorating the sky, not many at all.

It seems we´ll get a nice day here on the North coast.
