Well today is gross, yucky, miserable but still better then where you are.

It is slightly cooler here today as we are under the influence of a North American cold front (that is what Chris says, I'm not smart enough weather wise to know this) We have completely socked in skies, I am sure the sun is still there but we can't find it. We have rain / drizzle constantly and no wind to speak of.

ITs a great day to work in my office.

First of all to our American friends, Happy Thanksgiving!

Today looks like a nice fall day! Until you feel the temperature that is. It is overcast with big ugly grey clouds, currently it is not raining but it will.

We have a very light breeze and it is about 26C. Last night it rained some but it was a great night for sleeping. Slightly cooler temperatures make it really nice to sleep.

I am off later on to the Thanksgiving dinner in Sosua. I am not American but I am happy to share the holiday!

Well we are still pretty socked in here in Puerto Plata. I did check the satelites etc. Looks like this will start to dissipate overnight and tomorrow morning with a clearing for the weekend! Let's hope I am right in what I read and interpreted.....

Good morning, today is a little better then yesterday. It looks like this front is losing strength and is breaking up.

We are still overcast but we can see blue sky at times. It is about 27 C and we have no breeze at all!

Today is nicer then yesterday which was a little nicer then the day before...LOL

We have huge patches of blue sky today and some clouds. There is a slight breeze and the temperature is 27C.

Yesterday it cleared up a bit later in the afternoon but then the rains came back overnight. At about 10:30 it sounded like the skies opened up! Several times overnight I was wakened by the rain and wind. Because of all the rain lately everything feels wet!

It appears we are in for some continued improvements in the weather. I hope so, I have plan to go to Cabarete beach tomorrow!

I come this saturday for 8 day and will like to know how the weather look like this day.

where is planner it s almost 5 day you dont write about the weather.....how people can make a planning ?

Caro, most days are sunny and hot. Sometimes a few clouds and sometimes a tropical shower or two. This time of the year we do not expect big variations in weather, so, we all get a little lazy in reporting the same conditions. Planner has also been away. Enjoy your vacation and the weather will be great! Bring a light sweater or wind jacket for the evenings as it may get a little cool.

Hello folks, I"m back. I was in another part of the country for several days.

YEsterday was very nice, hot and sunny with a typical build up clouds late afternoon and an early evening shower.

Today it is 26 C, bright blue skies and a light breeze.

The weather is certainly changeable here right now. I woke to heavy rain this morning, but, by the time I was ready to leave, we simply had drizzle. NOw one hour later we have beautiful blue skies, a very light breeze and temperatures of about 82 F. Not bad at all.

Saturday I managed to get 3 hours on a beach, later on in the evening it rained. Sunday was rainy in the morning with some clouds and sun in the afternoon. The evening was nice but it clouded over and rained overnight.
