The rains came as expected, it is now pouring rain and completely socked in. I think I was wrong earlier today in assuming the rains wouldn't last, I think they just might.....
I will keep you posted.

Saturday August 5
What a beautiful day we have today. It is so nice I left early to go have coffee and enjoy the morning.
It is currently 82 F, mostly sunny skies and a nice breeze. Scheduled for today is the concert on the Malecon to celebrate the new beach. Frank Reyes, Los Hermanos Rosario and Krisspie are playing a free concert in the afternoon. At the moment it looks like the weather is going to cooperate!

Sunday August 6
The rains held off yesterday and it was a beautiful day for a party on the Malecon.
Today is a bit of a different story. We had rain overnight and this morning I woke to cloudy skies. It rained earlier this morning as well. Currently we have more blue skies then clouds so it is improving. It is hot - over 84F already and quite humid with a light breeze.

MOnday August 7
What a day...... how many ways can I say YUCKY. IT is raining, pouring, totally grey skies, a good breeze and YUCKY. It is a great day to stay in bed, catch up on your reading, watch a good movie, eat junk food, walk in the rain. Hopefully this will clear up.

Tuesday August 8
We have a much nicer day today, mostly sunny skies a beautiful breeze and hot! It is not unbearable today heat wise either, a great day to dry up all those puddles from yesterday. Quite possibly we could see a late afternoon thunderstorm today, pretty normal.

Well thanks! I appreciate the feedback. After being away from the daily reports for several months, it is nice to be back.
I know the other daily reporters of the weather are dedicated to making sure everyone knows what is happening here!

Wednesday August 9
Once again we had some serious rain overnight and earlier this morning. The clouds are thinning and yes, I can see it.... blue sky! It looks to be a little nicer then I had thought it would be. It is 84F right now and there isn't even a whisper of a breeze. As things change I will try to get back and update the weather.

Things have cleared up nicely, now we have mostly sunny skies, a good breeze and temperatures of 89F.
Much better for enjoying your vacations.

Thursday August 10
Good morning again. Today we are clouded over with a few sunny breaks. We have a nice breeze too so it doesn't feel so hot. While it is cloudy it doesn't yet look like rain. I am pretty sure that will change later today.
