Hmmmmm the sun is not here today. As I sit looking out my front door - we have a lot of clouds, high gusty winds, no sun but at the moment it is not raining. We have had rain off and on today. It is a little cooler today, only going up to about 81F. Still better then most places this time of year.

Kuhny - when did you say the sun was coming back...???

Hi Planner - the sun will try to come out again Wed/Thurs with an increasing tendency back to overnight/morning showers and afternoon sun. Another weak cold front originally from Canada may reach you later this week and keep the NE trades on the strong side..along with more frequent showers again.

Our schools were closed today in Kitchener due to a ice storm (-5 C and not 28 C like you're used to!)

Good morning. Well the sun is shining this morning, so far so good. But we have clouds off to the east and they are headed this way. It is 80F with a bit of a breeze.

Kuhny - here is a deal - you tell us what you think is coming and I will tell you what we actually have.....LOL I hope you are right, we are ready for some sun sun sun. -5 C - my deepest sympathies my dear. You need to some visit us here.

i just got back from sousua this morning, 16th feeling miserable, as i left rain and arrived back in england to yet more rain. Yes i got a color but am surprised it was not rust! I was in puerto plata two years ago in xmas new year weeks and then had lots of rain, maybe this is a bad time to visit

deb2k4 - this is winter and the weather is not guaranteed unfortunately. This Christmas it was really quite nice.... Sorry you missed it.

Is that rain going to end soon? It seems as thought it has been doing alot of that wet stuff lately? I guess warm rain is better than snow!!!

Today was a really nice day after all. Maybe the rain rain has gone away.

Just so everyone knows, for high season this year only I have officially requested that it only rain between 3 am and 5 am. That is the best I can do........LOL
