Default La Romana returning to normalcy

Despite the wet weekend, La Romana is quickly returning to normalcy. Reports just in from someone who visited the Marina de Casa de Campo says that some stores are ready to reopen. Mud all over, but cleaning is going fast and in a week time should be back to normal. Report is that there were no structural damages at the Marina, just the flooding.

Good news too that crossing through the Soco and Cumayasa bridges is again possible, after the closedown of Thursday and Friday due to the overflowing rivers.

Now only the bridge over the dam between La Romana and Higuey needs to be repaired.

Default la romana boats to isla saona

I've heard that all of the boats at La romana are currently too damaged to do their normal trips to isla saona - can anyone give more info on this situation?
