four members of my family are on route to playa dorada hotel victoria and golf resort
left london at 12.15 london time sunday 19th sep .

Are the airports open ok and is there any damage around that hotel.

Here in Santiago we have blue skies, light breezes from the SE and warm temps in the 80s.

As of yesterday business as usual at the POP airport. Didn't appear to be any dammages. As for the weather, cloudy but it does look like it's wants to clear up. Check the airline website back home. Look in the "arrivals" for the time of the return flight. That should tell you if they're late or not in arriving/leaving here.
