Bahia Maimon Weather

Hi there,

My boyfriend and I are planning a 2 week holiday at the Riu Merengue Hotel in Bahia Maimon on the 19th September this year. We're very excited about it and we can't wait, but we are a little concerned about hurricanes.

What is the weather like over there at the moment and is there any potential risk of a hurricane during our stay?

I would be grateful for any information anyone might provide me with.
