Weather in Punta Cana (Bavaro Beach) in early October?

Hello everyone!
I know you've probably been asked a million times, but I'm interested in travelling to Bavaro Beach (Barcelo Bavaro Palace) at the beginning of October, and am becoming increasingly worried that the majority of my stay will be in my room due to rain. Can you let me know what the weather is generally like at the end of Sept to the middle of October? It would be much appreciated!

You can expect temps in the mid 80's with light breezes and sunny conditions. There is always some chance of showers. If and when they do come you will only have to hide for a few minutes until it passes.
