Normal rain showers with sometimes high wind gusts. Nothing special

I was just talking to a friend who lives in San Pedro de Macroris and he said that the weather right now is fine there. They have had some wind and rain but just another day.

My thoughts and prayers are with the people of Jamaica right now. I hope they are as prepared as they can be.

A lot of ppl in Juan Dolio are rather confused, i had to take some to the office and show them that there is really a hurricane in our backyard

It is just a slight rain, nice temp and almost no winds, 26c
Only the sea is banging like an idiot on the coast.

Lets see sundaymorning how the ravage on the beach is and when there will be a cleanup.

pity the people of Jamaica in about 11 hours time, looks like they're in for a direct hit. And I've just been on the Thomson Fly web site, they are cancelling flights to Cancun from the UK.

But what is the UK coming to? Hurricane fears? "Food poisoning" fears? But can I get a cheap flight to DR over the next month or so? No! Not a chance! For goodness sake, is no one frightened by the Daily Mail any more???

We are pretty quiet on the north coast , nice breeze, a little rain but no big deal at all! If I had not seen the satellite shots I would not have believed it..
