Can anyone tell me approximately what time the sun goes down in Puerto Plata at the beginning of March?

Specifically....will it be dark before 7:00pm?

I am having a hard time remembering and the dominicans I have asked also can't seem to recall.

It's rather dark at 7PM in March.
The sunset more or less fluctuates between 6 and 7 PM.
June 21st is the longest and December 21st the shortest day of the year.
PS These are approximations.
You might Google up exact times.
