The period of time for the Government report on the Tavera tragedy is, according to El Nacional, up. A 90 day period was set. So...........anyone heard anything about the official report?

Official report on the tragedy: no negligence, adequate dam management, however Committee didn't function adequately because it didn't have a co-ordinator & one is needed & ops. manuals were deemed to be reactive rather than proactive.

I have yet to see the actual official report, just the press releases. Remember with the unofficial one how that is posted in a number of places (link supplied earlier in this thread by A.Hidalgo)? I'm presuming with the 'transparency in government' slogan that the actual report should be available for us to read? So if someone comes across the link please post it here.

What I'd like to do is open up both reports in 2 windows & compare & contrast............maybe some of the technologically knowledgeable people could assist with this?

The unofficial Santiago commission which investigated the Tavera tragedy will issue a rebuttal of the Government's report next Tuesday, according to Listin Diario.

H'mmm. This may not be possible. According to an AP report in the Sun Sentinel the full Government report has not been released:
Dominican officials absolved for opening dam, causing deaths during Tropical Storm Olga -- South Florida Sun-Sentinel.com

Looks like Huchi Lora may be needed?
