Newbie here .....was wondering if anyone could provide me with some info on how cool the weather gets end of Dec/beginning of Jan in Punta Cana? We are in the very early stages of planning a family reunion end of December 2008. DR looks very appealing, but we want someplace warm. Have been to Mexico around the same time and had a few cool days. Would appreciate hearing back from anyone regarding travelling to DR at that time of the year.
What you are going to get in the fahrenheit scale: as a whole you overnight in the high sixties low seventies and during the day low to middle eighties. In the celsius scale it would convert from a low of twenty to a high of thirty.
This translates to cool evenings and warm days, just right.
As in all cases when one deals with the weather, there will be exceptions.
