April Weather in the Dominican Republic?

We're heading to Puerto Plata in April and we are wondering what we can expect for weather while we are there.

We were just there last week and the weather was very nice. It rained once and not for long. The weather was usually 25-28 everyday.

Is it generally warmer or colder at that time of year?

April will be warmer. I am heading back the first 2 weeks of April to PP also. Last year, April was warm and sunny.

How much warmer? Like a few degrees warmer or 10 degrees warmer? We're from Canada and +28 was HOT for us!

I was there in mid December and I found it to be cool at night. In April it is hotter at night and hotter during the day. 5 to 10 more because of the humidex. 30 to 35 is to be expected.
