Is there any damage to the Moon Palace from the Hurricane in Punta Cana?

Punta Cana is fine, just lots of ran. Moon Palace is not scheduled to open until the end of this year as far as I'm aware.

Wud will be touring site in late Oct/08

I toured it last Nov and in the ensuing year I expect to see lots of changes. This is a huge resort of some 1700+ rooms including associated amenities.

Of course, as you know, there has been no hurricane in Punta Cana this season.

In North America any time a hurricane or tropical storm drops rain on the DR all that many people hear is hurricane and DR. Recently TS Gustav (before becoming a hurricane) brushed the southwest of the DR on it's march across Haiti and dropped some rain elsewhere in the DR. I'm sure this is the root of the question.
