Now....I've seen sun dogs before....but it was back home in Canada, in the dead of winter, usually on an incredibly cold, clear day....but they certainly didn't look anything like this!
They aren't the best pictures in the world....but I can tell you that I'm rather impressed at how they turned out, considering that I WAS taking pictures directly into the sun and couldn't see a thing!
This thing is HUGE, and doesn't fit too well into one picture.
I know that Curt was taking pictures too, and I'm sure he's got better ones. I'll post more later if he does!
These were taken at about 1:30pm.
Oh, and btw....it's 31C/88F, clear sky, very light breeze and humidity at 79%
