This is an 85 sq. meter, one-bedroom apartment with an
additional small bedroom. Mahogany doors and finishing, carefully chosen
furniture and beautiful pictures and paintings give this apartment a cozy, warm
touch that will make you feel right at home.
In the living room you can enjoy the company of your
family and guests. The sofa-bed doubles as an extra double bed to comfortably
accommodate two people. There is a ceiling fan and 4-chair dining area with a
gorgeous table made of Dominican marble. There is also a guest toilet for your
comfort and privacy.
The master bedroom has a double bed with a comfortable
Simmons mattress and spring box, 21-inch color TV with TV cable offering over
100 channels. Private bathroom with bathtub and hot water. It also has a ceiling
fan and air-conditioner. This bedroom has a very large closet and safe box with
combination lock. There is also a small desk and chair.
The medium-sized kitchen, has been totally revamped. The
fridge, stove, dishwasher and microwave are all brand new, and will make
preparing your meals a pleasure.
There is also a small spare bedroom with a single bed and
ceiling fan that can accommodate another person with total privacy. This bedroom
also has a small bathroom.
There is also Cable connection to the Internet and you can
use our laptop for a small fee.

"I stayed in the apartment, and I recommend it. The apartment, as advertised, has everything. Mirador Sur is one of the nicest neighborhoods in the city. It is safe, and it is quiet. The apartment is not simply furnished but well decorated (I sometimes felt embarrassed to invite Dominicans over because it looked so much better than the average Dominican home).
In my particular situation, because of the communication system, I was able to arrive and start working the next day. That is to say, there was no transition period. And, for me, that was the big advantage.
Finally, I consider this apartment to be competitively priced with the apartments in Santo Domingo. I challenge someone to find a better deal with the following characteristics: 1. Fully furnished 2. Cable internet/TV and AC 3. Located in an equivalent neighborhood 4. Available for short-term rental 5. Has an English speaking owner that is customer service oriented (you cannot underestimate the value of this aspect) 6. Can be reserved over the internet before you even arrive." A. |

We are a couple with two kids and found staying at an apartment to be much more convenient and more economic than staying at a hotel, specially considering that we have to prepare food for our infant child.
