A New resort, opened Dec, 2001. 3 a la carte restaurants,2 good, 1 (the Grille) average. Food at buffet good, quantity and quality. Service at restaurants good, not many speak english. Staff everywhere, very clean resort, rooms not luxurious, but clean and comfortable. Front desk staff neither friendly nor helpful. Somewhat distant from other resorts or town, 1 resort next door. Pools lovely, grounds ok- will be wonderful when they mature. Bartenders and wait staff quick and friendly, especially beach bar and sports bar(open 24 hours) The beach here is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. Clean, Quiet, white sand, clear turquoise water where you can see little fish swimming at your feet. Enough wave action for some fun- but not dangerous. windsail, cataraman, boogie boards and snorkel available at resort. Food at beach grille not up to same standard, but very convenient. Activities staff try hard. Nighttime shows about 5 out of ten, amateur except for dancing and a little risque for youths. President beer always cold, white wine not wine same temp. not great anyway. Resort attracts many Europeans and cater to their tastes.

I was here one month after they opened for business. Don't know what happened but when I walked in we were greeted by people who were new at the job but friendly. I recieved excellent service everywhere I went to include the front desk. I must say that this was the most beautiful and the best vacation I have ever had. The water was as warm as the staff. We laughed alot with the staff member and met new friends at the hotel. Our friends consisted of hotel staff. People who took us in and showed us their country. Beautiful country wonderful people. Maugila if you are still there watching over the beach Bob and Brenda Salute you and thanks for a great time in the big city and the Cock Fights.

My family and I went to Grand Paradise forAugust 1-14. I have a daughter, 12 who made many friends and enjoyed the time there. The food was great though sometimes there weren't many choices. the plates were a big disgrace since they were very old. The pools were also nice for the morning. In the afternoon they got very worm. Reading people's comments before going there , I was very scared. The bars did not take a long time to give you your drink. At night, after dinner, my husband and i went to the shows. the preformers were with incredible talents. My daughter stayed at the Sports Bar were many kids hung out. The reception desk up front had a bit of an attitude but everything went out great. We enjoey the hotel very much and would recommend it to many families.

This resort was new - yet beautiful. Here you lay on the white snady beach all day and then enjoyed a entertainment at night. You lay by the clear turquoise water where you can see little fish swimming at your feet. Many activites are avalible to you, windsail, cataraman, boogie boards and snorkel available at resort- The food is good - and you have different choices every night - also on site there are some nice resturants - 1 thats serves Italian food, a Grille which offerend many American dishes and then the buffet. The service here was good - and most staff spoke english - just enough to understand you.
