I stayed at the Europa April 8 to April 12,2003 I had room 118 I usually stay in Resorts (Aruba 4x last year) I must say I consider myself a resort guy, pool/beach/pool eat, dinner walk the strip. I must say, This was a cute hotel, I had a brand new Air Cond, always lots of towels. Shampoo/soap despenser in the bathroom. Lots of closet space.
The staff always greeted me with a wave, hello or smile. from Ana, my maid to the woman at the front desk.
I did meet Diego the owner or manger. he had my Inop. safe changed (coudn't reset the combo) in less then 10 minutes! he realized my room rate was overcharged by a couple dollars each nite. He noticed it and opened his wallet and paid me the differance in cash, as my credit card was already processed. He noticed the SMALL error and brought it to my attention!
You get alot for your hard earned money in Sosua! A drink/beer in Aruba is $8.00 in Sosua its $1.25 or 25 pescos. A Hotel of this type in Aruba would cost about $125 plus a 27% gov't tax and a $5.00 a nite energy tax. My Europa rate was $45 a night. I had a small kitchenette!
My room was always clean. Cable TV safe. and GREAT water pressure and hot water.
The only thing i could want was a wash cloths or wash sponge. Being I knew this wasnt a resort, I brought my own. Im sure if I asked I could have been given some. But then again, In October I was at the James Hotel in South Beach, Fla and in Jan in a hi-rise in Isle Verde, Puertio Rico and guess what, No wash Cloths! It was no big deal being i had my own.
This is a nice hotel for the money. Not a resort. just a Avg. Hotel, with a hard working staff. A nice change from a resort. Maybe not a hotel for a big family, but I plan to staying there again soon.

i was married at piergiorgio hotel in 2005. It was a beautiful weddng and the sunsets there are gorgeous. The staff was nice and the rooms were spacious. the food was better than the all inclusive resorts. We shared a very special day with our guests and everyone loved it. The area was safe to walk around in. not like resorts where you needed extra tight security. i would go back the beach was right there ang gorgeous.

I would not stay at Europa if the room was free. Europa is a place for men who want ladies of the evening. Point blank!

I stayed there in 2005 for 1 night and checked out the next day!

Stayed here recently. Management is very poor, they don't understand customer relations. Can't even get additional toilet paper for the room!

How many ways can you say the word bad? Terrible, horrible, crummy, scummy, nasty, dirty, filthy, dumpy, skanky, stinky.Get you websters dictionary and look it up because they all apply to this place.A jail cell in Iraq is most likely better than this place.I will never go there again!!!! Armando(NYC)

This guy must of had one too many presidente beers when he wrote this review.I stayed here for one day when I was in Sosua and changed hotels the next day( Pier Giorgio hotel).Yes I agree the workers were nice people but there are so many nicer hotels in Sosua and in better parts of town, and closer to the beach.Hotel Plaza Europa was about a 20 minute walk to the beach. This is definately "not"a place to take the wife and kids. You have been warned!Piergiorgio is sooo much nicer, right by the beach
