This is a small boutique style hotel which is about a year old. Rooms are above average probably as they are new.
The rooms are all separate as each small building has only two 2 or 4 rooms usually with its own plunge pool out back.
The facilities offer a great poolside ambience and small Spa as well as a few restaurant choices. Their all-inclusive food/beverage plan seemed overpriced even paying the high prices on the restaurant menus that were more relective of prices in the states rather than the islands.
This is definitely a great place for couples who are looking to read a book, watch a movie and relax as there is no nightlife at all other than a single bar which was closed by midnight.
The resort seemed very well run and the help was friendly and accomodating. This is also one of the few places that has little to offer outside the resort unless you are willing to travel.
All in all, it was a great place for a quiet few days in the DR.
