Hotel practices bait and switch!!! You book one thing and get forced into substandard hotel off site. They over book the hotel as a matter of business standard operating procedure. They then send you on a 4-5 hour bus ride to a substandard hotel. real fun after a 6 hour flight! The hotel managment will not respond to complaints in person nor via telephone. They posted secutirty guard at door who was instructed to keep everyone out. BUYER BEWARE !!!! Your rights are not there concern.... I had a wonderful time with the people of the Dominican Republic but the Occidential Staff is interested in only one thing, your money. They have it already and if you have booked and you will not get your money back. BEWARE!!!!!!

The Occidental is a good hotel, here you can enjoy a good vacation.
AND in Taxi Sosua Cabarete you can get a good transport and have a comfortable travel from the airport to the hotel, we enjoy having a tour with then by all the cirty and several part of the country, i can recommend to them and you can contact in taxitourssosua@hotmail.com |
