I have been staying at this hotel for many years now and it has never looked so beautiful thanks to a recent major renovation. The renovation is now in its final stages. Security is so tight that you can't even access the guest room floors without a key. As a guest, you can only access your floor, the restaurant and the pool/spa floors. Club level guests and Ambassador Club members can access the beautiful club on the 14th floor. Bad news is that the hotel closed its Brazilian Churrascaria restaurant down (Tascamar) and something else will be put in its place. The employees are very professional and attentive. The beds are incredibly comfortable. This is my 2nd home in Santo Domingo!
