Outside of the United States there are many Dominicans living abroad. Dominicans can be found in Canada, Europe, and as far away as Japan.

Europe has well established Dominican communities like those in the United States, though not of the same size. Spain and Italy have some of the larger communities in Europe, though Dominicans can be found in other European nations like England, Holland, Belgium, and Germany.
