Solution
The NCF is the Número de Contribuyente Fiscal, or an extra number specially issued and made to control better the
invoice system of businesses and charging and filing for tax /ITBIS. Each business is assigned a specific number in order to verify all transactions. It was a sytem implemented in the DR to stop tax evasion and to increase tax revenues on Dominican businesses. The NCF number is a 19 digit number. The first 13 numbers identify the kind of business and the last 6 digits are
"working" as a regular invoice number.
