Yes, the new law regulating deslindes requires they be done with GPS. Prices for "deslindes" have skyrocketed in the last year due to high demand and the new surveying regulations which instituted GPS measurements.
The new land registration law makes it mandatory to have a deslinde on every property. Beginning next April, Registrars of Titles will not record sales of properties without deslindes.
