Answer
Reggea music, which is popular in the Lesser Antilles islands, is not as popular in the Dominican Republic. Superstar artists like Bob Marley are well known in the DR and their music is heard on occasion in certain settings, but large scale reggea concerts or music followers are much rarer. Many times hotels might have some reggea music around, but bachat, merengue and salsa are the most common musical genres in the DR.
