The Antiguo Hotel Europa originally operated from 1930-1965 as a traditional
hotel, standing out for the exquisite detail and design of its balconies with
the characteristic ironwork of the period. The new owners, have invested RD$100
million in the remodeling, but sought to preserve the original architecture,
including the lovely floorwork, considered to be the heritage of colonial
architecture. The new, 52-room hotel blends the wonders of the old with the
convenience of the new. |
Accommodations:
52 guest rooms, most with private balcony, in Standard, Superior and Junior
Suite Categories. All guest rooms are decorated in an antique style, combining
colonial atmosphere and modern conveniences. Mahogany furniture, air
conditioning, safety deposit box, bathroom amenities, cable television and
telephone.
Standard Room: Efficiency size rooms, most with
balcony. Queen size bed. Maximum Occupancy: 2 persons.
Superior Room: Two Queen size beds. Maximum occupancy:
4 persons.
Junior Suite: Spacious and elegant design with
balconies and double windows that overlook the San Francisco Monastery and the
colonial city. Queen size beds. Maximum Occupancy: 2

The Terraza Restaurant and Bar offers imaginative Caribbean
cuisine in the most appealing setting for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Providing
a unique visual experience, the Terraza features panoramic views of the San
Francisco Ruins and spectacular sunsets over the colonial city.
The Lobby Bar has a wide variety of tropical and traditional
cocktails, as well as an ample selection of national and international drinks.
The convention rooms and Internet Center are designed for 8
to 30 person capacity.
We enjoy a unique location, a short walk to the monuments and
historical sites of the first city of America, just a few minutes from shopping
malls and only thirty minutes from our principal international airport, Las
Americas.
