Jumbo in Punta Cana

Any news on when it might actually be completed....tired of the La Romana drives...

hopefully faster than the Boulevard construction or progress in fixing existing roads, otherwise we will still drive to la romana by the end of this decade, lol.

I applied for office space in the new "Punta Cana Shopping Mall" close to the 2 (TWO) Jumbo's and was assured they would be open by end of this year.

Formerly a Montrealer and traded all the snow for sand...Living near Carabela...who else is in PC ?

Jumbo is a supermercado, like Sirena.

been told yesterday that they will build the Jumbo on 2 big spots at the new Boulevard, if you drive from PC towards the airport, right in that long curve leeding to the circle where you turn right to Cap Cana or go straight on to the airport.
not far aside the big new building which says "Ilumel".

i live here in PC, too, 13 years now, exactly in Veron, but running charter boats from the Marinas Cap Cana, Punta Cana, Club Nauticus in Cabeza de Toro and still also from El Cortecito i am over the whole area all day long. near the carabela you will also find a fellow canadian, Punta Cana Mike, he works at the new EdenH resort next to the Carabela. we will hold a meeting with travelboard members on jan 29th 2PM at Steve's Corner Bar, also known as the dirty corner or our 2nd office, lol, join us.

When we were in PC in November our realtor pointed out where the new Jumbo is going, exactly as you described Mike. We ask alot of questions since this will be our new home in the near future
