Is it true that if you prepare your Last Will and Testament with an attorney and then you decide to change it, you have to use the same lawyer?

What is the average price for that document?

Can you make the decision to leave all your possessions to your husband but put a clause that his children from another marriage will not inherit from you?

Is it NOT true, in the Dominican Republic at least, that if you prepare a will with an attorney you need to go back to him/her if you want to change it.

Price depends on the complexity of the document and on the extent of the work done on estate planning by the attorney. A relatively simple will may cost $100-$300 US.

You cannot leave everything to your husband (in the Dominican Republic) if you have children or parents.
