can you please tell me where Rocky's is then. I drove around Sosua for a while and only found La Roca. I didn't think it was the same place so I didn't stop there. I really wanted to taste the ribs.

Everyone knows where ROCKYS is, just ask. Starting out at the Texaco Gas Station turn left onto the road next to the Texaco. Come to a four way intersection. GO STRAIGHT! Park the car right away and get out. ROCKYS is on the right hand side BEFORE the supermarcado. The sign says ROCKYS. Sosua is a very small town. A suggestion to perhaps get out of the car and walk around on a nice day. You will see many small shops and restaurants that you miss while in a car.

So you don't get confused. Actually turn left on the road next to the Pharmacia, which is adjacent to the Texaco Station. If you go down the road adjacent to the Texaco you will run into a "T" intersection. The street you want is Calle Dr. Rosen.

I've been to Sosua a couple of times, however I only heard about Rocky's when I started reading this board, so I thought I would go looking for it. I asked a few motoconcho's but they had a hard enough time pronouncing it, nevermind knowing where it was. Unfortunately I didn't have time to walk around Sosua on that particular day. I go to the D.R. about once a month, so next time, Rocky's is a definite.

Thanks HOWMAR, I printed out the map. From the looks of it, I must have driven right past it a couple of times.

I use the Texaco station as a reference since it is right on the street versus the Farmarcia which inside a buidling somewhere and is easily missed when turning left after the Texaco station. The Texaco station is missed only if you are blind. If you wish to use a a different building as your reference point then by all means please do. I choose to use the Texaco station as my reference point.

The intersection I am writing about is a "4 way" intersection sir. Right turn at the Old Moby Dick onto Pedro Clisante is first way, left turn onto Pedro Clisante at the taxi stand is the second way, straight ahead onto Dr Rosen and to Rockys is the third way and the way you are coming from is the fourth way. This is a "4 way" intersection at least where I am from that's what we call them.

To the OP, as long as you find Rockys and have some of those great ribs Marco offers up. That's the bottom line no matter what reference point is used to get there.
