Default ocean world shows

Hi I've read on here about Ocean world arranging for rides from your hotel and back, does anyone know if they are still doing this? I read on their website that they offer transfers from Cabarete but im not sure what this means. Would it be better for us to rent a car and drive there ourselves?

Also I've read that there are shows at Ocean World casino? Is the casino part of the park? Is there a fee to watch the late night show they have there?

Also does anyone know what times the shows start and how long the dophin swim lasts? are there discounts if you book multiple experiences? thanks for your help!

i actually read those posts but it doenst really answer the questions i have. I would like to hear personal recommendations from people and also prices for the night show (not posted anywhere) and time frames for the swim with dolphins. also i'd like to know what people think is a better choice arranging for a ride through the casino (not sure how this would work as im sure were probably going to gamble and dont know how long we will be) or to just rent a car and if the road will be navigatable at night for first time visitors to DR. thanks for the recommendation tho! =)

Yes Ocean World has a bus transfer from most hotels on the North Coast.

i saw that link also but noticed that the package for the night show includes transportation and shows at the park, which are also included if you do the dolphin encounter. Do you know if they offer a discount if you do both the same day or do you still have to pay the full fees even though they have the same inclusions?

I know im asking alot of questions, thanks for the help everyone!

If you are there during the afternoon for an encounter you can go in the casino when they open at 4pm for gambling. They have lockers there for changing. But I THINK you would have to take care of your return transportation.

For the Magical Nights - you get RT, Lobster and PRime Rib Buffet, 3 animal shows and the Las Vegas Style Show and then gambling for $69

I know because we are looking into the same thing and plan to visit the casino a few times - I want to go early and visit the marina and be there when the casino opens!

Conchman here on DR1 is the VP and I am sure you could PM him if you had a question - he is very good at helping out in regards to his resort/casino/marina

I cant wait.....12 more days.......

oooh....let me know how that goes! were interested in doing the same thing, except were not going until the end of May. You must be SOOOO excited!!! Im hoping that doing the doplin swim (or encounter, havent decided entirely yet) and Magical Nights wont be too much to do all in one day. Have you planned anything else to do while youre there? I've been hearing great things about the catamaran rides and the Outback Safari...I think were gong to try both!
