There is an RD100 Peso cover charge at the bottom of the stairs good for one local drink. Keep in mind if you look or are Dominican it may be waived.
Don't try and keep it for another day, they stamp the date on it.

i do not mind the cover charge, what annoys me is the stupididy of their exchange rates...
they only give 28 rd for a us dollar, and then for some reason only 20 rd for a canadian dollar...i would love to buy all the canadian dollars they get if they do in fact get any...
if they were smart they would give better exchange rates...in peru at one casino they have more than the going rate and believe you me: that is where i used to go all the time to get change,,,and while i was there they used to get a lot more back from me than the difference they overpaid me,,,
now that was smart..

First of all, I do not condone their exchange policies, but you can exchange USD next door for $33.25 @ any hour of the night directly to the right of Bar Central. NOBODY gives a fair tasa for CAD in the country, so why should the disco be any different? You know this already.
This club in Chile knows how to attract US Dollars!

George ,
Just open a bank account at banco santa cruz, they pay 33.9 and you can have a U.S. dollar account with an ATM card....changing money is an expensive proposition if not from a bank
And yes the cover charge is good for one drink.
But what's distrubing is I am now in their commercial on local channel's 3 & 8 and I am not receiving any Royalties.

The funny thing is I have not seen it and was wondering why everyone was pointing me out and laughing as I walk through town.
When I went to the dentist on fFiday the receptionist recognized me and said....
I am watching these channels now , just to see it for my self.

So its a good thing!
My only beef is when they wont give me my usual trago de Barcelo Añejo for RD100, and I get stuck with some Brugal diesel fuel!
Are you still in paradise?
