amazing hols!
I just returned from the Riu Bambu and had the MOST INCREDIBLE holiday.
I love the Dominican Republic more than I ever thought I could.
I have been several times, and this was by far the best!! Me and 3 of my closest girl friends went for 2 weeks, and it was incredible.
Our flight was really good, we flew with Thompson, but had upgraded seats so it was a very comfortable flight. The airport was very quick and we arrived at the hotel, we were quickly checked in.
Straight away everyone made us feel so comfortable. The first night, we enjoyed a few cocktails and made our way to the Pacha were we met, and got to know the workers, they were a laugh... and sure no how to dance!!
The beach is absolutely beautiful beyond belief, it really is. Stunning blue sea and white sand… I do love to lie on a clean beach and sizzle! The pool was cool too.. However I could to Spain for a pretty pool, so I wanted to appreciate the Caribbean sea!
The food is ok in the resort, nothing special, but you don’t go on holiday to eat, and we rarely did in the hotel, the fruit in the morning is delicious for breakfast.. Ask Monica to do you a banana smoothie!! There the best.
The rooms were nice, clean, and because we had a suite, just lovely. Mini bar in the room was a bonus, And they refilled everything everyday. We do like to drink, we really do. You get me? We are 4 girls in our teens and twenties!
As the week went on, the holiday got better, we got special treatment from the staff and they
made us feel like princess's.
We went to lots of different places to eat in Bavaro, and we went out to another town one night, and ate incredible fish! It was so nice to see the real side of the DR, outside the resorts and see REAL life!!
I Was a little disappointed that i didn’t get to Santo Domingo, but me and my girls are going back to see the boys from the hotel in December. We are going to stay outside of the resort and really explore. I never felt unsafe when i was in the DR and it was an amazing holiday. I want to go back!!! We all sobbed when we left, we experienced some beauty, some good food, hot boys and great dancing! I also am now in love with shaker’s song, as it is played so much all day every where!! I tell you “hips don’t lie” especially in the DR!
