I'll see if I can get a mod to help move your thread but the answer is no he can't come with you, he has to immigrate and there's a two year wait right now. Read this. Spouse and Fiance(e) of an American Citizen

and also dominicanstotheusa.com :: View Forum - K-3, CR-1, and IR-1 Visas

Read the visa forum and you'll find answers as well http://www.dr1.com/forums/visas/

Anna, thnaks for posting our link.

To the OP, you should be aware that the process is very hard, and the current wait time is almost three years now.

If you have any questions, as Anna said, check our web site.

Yes, the Consulate has lost several Consuls due to the passport requirements here in the states. They don't know when they will get replacements. We now have several people going to Ecuador to get married. Then they can file a K3 visa and it will be processed in the country where the marriage took place. We have had about 6 couples do this so far but we have not had anyone complete the process outside the USA.

Speaking of 3 years, my wife and I will be married three years in September! She is here a year and a half now and we are doing GREAT. I have truly found a diamond in that big pile of rocks.
