Those bugs can get in the smallest crack! I remember my first experience with them - tropical storm 4 years ago this month. I had a million of the little buggers. They die almost immediately but what a mess.

Yes it looks like the DR has been spared the worst of this storm. I feel so sorry for those that have not been spared!

Yes it is a mess the wings are everywhere and even when you think youve cleared up you still find them days later.
Still its nothing compared to what some must be going through, I agree with you Planner feel so sorry for others in much more difficult circumstances, Many deaths in Haiti, those poor people seem to suffer so much in many ways .

We have cloudy skies this morning - almost hazy though - it is not hot yet as the sun hasn't burned through - but it feels like the kind of day that will be a scorcher.

No more rain, the wind has returned to normal - today - none at all.

Have a great day.

A beautiful day - bright blue skies, nice breeze and not a cloud to be seen. There is nothing to worry about - nothing out there headed this way.

Have a great day.

Hi!
I will be traveling to Puerto Plata this weekend.
Can anyone tell me if there's any hurricane damage in that area?

Any type of information would be a big help!

Thank you in advance,

ilmyncsfl

We have had another typical September day - hot, humid but breezy most of the day. The cloud rolled in this afternoon and we had some thunder. Later on this evening we had more clouds and thunder, a bit of lightening but no rain yet. Looks like it could just roll on right by us......

The temperature did cool down a bit so I am sure it was raining somewhere close by.

September weather is typically like this. Hot and humid with cloud build up later in the day. Come prepared for this. you might want to pack a small umbrella for the possibility of a shower but bring lots of sunscreen. Don't forget some good mosquito repellent as well.

Have a great day.

and if it makes somebody fel better,
no prob,
bring your sweater,
YOU will not need him on the beach areas,
but maybe you meet a nice lad from one of our mountain areas,
she will happily keep it and sure use it during the winter months up there
when visiting mommy at home, ha ha.
