Default Flooded - Santo Domingo (photos)

I took a few photos on my cell phone on my trudge to the office this morning.

What usually takes me 15mins, took me almost an hour today due to road closures etc.

I saw streets like this when I was in SD during Gustav's visit.

Would be lots better if there was not so much trash in the streets, that clog up the few drain's that do work. an passing under the elevado can ge a real trip when its raining like it did during Gustav, and night before last, could not tell were the sidewalk ended and the street began was all under water
