Default Lots going on, but nothing happening

If you look at this: Caribbean Rainbow Imagery - Satellite Services Division

you'd think, "Oh my!" but really nothing seems to be jelling.

It seems that there are no conditions for the formation of even a tropical storm...

However, for those people who are vacationing, I am sure that the occasional shower is just enough to take the heat off of the day.....

What do you think is in the pipeline Mike???

Long may this quietude in the Atlantic continue.

Last year was a mess.

I admit that last year a small part of me wanted to witness a tropical storm first hand - with an Ernest Hemingway kind of curiosity.
I learned my lesson!

It is still early days this year but so far so good.

Yeah, there's nothing quite like a tropical storm, IF you have prepared yourself for it.

But it really is depressing to see the havoc it creates for the flolks that can't or won't prepare for one...

it's the only disturbed movement for the whole Atlantic basis at the moment.
nothing else to look on.
and that goooood.
it's surroundings are in case of possible improvement much better than the ones for the last disturbances we had out there this early season, but it is sooo far away and also so young, in an other 2 days we will know what it is up to.
looks like this season will not be a "above average" season,
that's good.
maybe a 6-8 named storms, max 3 huge ones,
like always i just hope the 3 huge ones stay far away, the rest we can handle like always with a couple cold ones in the fridge shared by some friends.
so far few very short showers on the east til now,
and most on nighttime anyways.
it started to rain here in Cabeza de Toro 1 minute ago whle writing this, no wind involved, after a hot day that cooling down a bit is appreciated.
it will be an other stunning day tomorrow.
at least i hope so like always, he he
Mike
