This is a small lush hotel with ten rooms and a small pool. The grounds are truly a tropical garden and have been carefully developed. The small swimming pool is the centerpiece of the hotel and a very nice poolside breakfast is available for about $3US. I liked the large hammock for reading and the slight isolation from the downtown district. A favorite among Peace Corps volunteers.

I have yet to see a bad review on this hotel. The only downside is that you have to cross the main road in order to get to the beach and restaurants and you walk right past a taxi stand where drivers ask you if you want a ride. On the other hand, if you want to go somewhere, they are only half a block away from the door. An ideal place for small families or people wanting to avoid crowds. There is a small public kitchenette available when not being used for breakfast, a curtisy bar, and they even have horses for riding about next door. It is a bit of a walk to the beach, but it is nice to be in such a lush and quiet place. Sylvia gives sound advice and will tell you where to go and what to avoid.
