This hotel is located in 'downtown' Samana, on the 2nd floor; a reataruant, evidently under different ownership, occupies the 1st floor. 1,200 P night [@33] for 2 people. The rooms are small, w/o AC; there are fans; private bath included. When we inspected an available room, the linens had not been changed; ther were red [?] & white [?] stains on the sheets? The waste basket featured a used condom, evidently @ 2 - 3 days old; my guess. 2 youg teenagers "manned" the front desk. The street below is extremely noisy. We left to & looked elsewhere. There are several budget category hotels in the city of Samans. This is the worst! Avoid at all costs! I would not stay in the Bahia View for free.
